I placed a phone order and ask multiple times for the price she avoids giving me the price after tax. When my daughter gets there the worker that took my order checks her out and tells here the total is 48 bucks and some change. The lady tries to run my credit card through not letting my daughter see the card machine. It declines, so I look at my bank account and the lady added a 10.00 tip and keeps trying to run it like my daughter does not know how to count. This is illegal and I want customers to know a tip is earned not just taken. Make sure you check your receipt because they are robbing folks.

I'm so upset. I ordered a whole catfish fried hard. I took it home and the fish was literally pink. This is by far the worst experience because I really wanted the fish. Now I gotta throw it away 😒 😩

The catfish strips were excellent. My only small complaint was the wait HOWEVER, that is expected when food is made to order. The lady at the register was friendly. Updated review October 2024: Still all good. Got the 3/4 pound catfish strips, light salt. Excellent! But it no longer comes with bread I guess.

Excellent customer service!! Goes above and beyond to make sure customers is satisfied! I wouldn’t recommend dine in until they finish remodeling but the food is 10/10 highly recommend!!! Best part it’s always fresh! Best black on restaurant so far! (Food quality and taste wise)

I liked the chicken with onions and peppers. The large amount of butter on the vegetables and potato salad wasn't my favorite. I didn't care for the salmon, but my child liked it. No option to get the salmon without sauce, and it had a lot. There are other things on the menu I'd like to try; there is a huge variety of food offered. The music was so loud in the small space I had a hard time hearing the lady working at the counter, but she was friendly and patient.
