Not sure how the food is because the last 2 times I've gone by they've been closed shortly after 7. I go by because I get off work at 7 and their hours say they are open till 8pm. Today I was backing up into a parking spot at 7:07 and I saw people inside and before I could get out of my truck, they turned the Open Sign off and turn off all the lights. Was pretty disappointed because I've been craving a Gyro all week but didn't get paid till today. I guess if you are going to have dinner here get there by 6 or 6:30.
We drove by this place and it was empty. We approached the counter and the guy was rude. We said "hi" and he just looked at us. We both ordered the Charburger with cheese and we were shocked. Little piece of meat. Didn't even look like a hamburger! It was burnt! Tater tots were ok. Onion rings were not great. We paid over $6 just to get 5 onion rings! I will never go there again! Years ago I used to come here when the burgers were HUGE! These cheeseburgers looked like kids meal patties! See pic for reference. Owner needs to make serious changes!
Found this place on Google Maps when I was going to safety council. 100% recommend! Great place with amazing burgers. I love family owned places. They have a great selection for either lunch or dinner. Great place for a great hamburger. Also, their fries are home fries. If you're looking for a good burger and don't want fast food, then I recommend this place.
In town visiting relatives for Christmas , wanted something other than a chain place. I had the steak finger basket with a small salad , french fries ,gravy, and 1 piece of Texas toast. The steak fingers were hot and very tasty , the gravy tasted like granny made it ( only problem it was a little tiny serving of it) the French fries not so great , no flavor really ( I am used to twice fried fries) the little salad was ok ( had a few pieces with rust, bit the tomatoes were good and the dressing covered it up) I will go back for a Frito pie for sure. They take your order when you walk in. They were very friendly. The place had interesting photos on the walls of baseball players from long ago. I found it interesting.
I spent $16 on a small burger and over cooked onion rings. I do have to say the burger was good just small. The meal was not worth $16.
