Deer Park Public Library

The Public library is a welcoming and well-maintained community library that provides a calm and comfortable environment for visitors of all ages. The collection offers a wide range of books and digital resources for children, teens, and adults. Staff members are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help with research, technology, or general questions. Regular programs and a peaceful atmosphere make it an excellent place for reading, studying, or spending quality time learning.

Helpful librarians, clean and quiet. My only complaint is they use call signs? And not the Dewey Decimal system. Some very interesting old books about petrochemical engineering and local companies. Lots of nonfiction to reference!

Great, comfortable, nice and clean Library, the Librarians are very helpful and welcoming, my kids and I loves it!

My family and I frequent the library often. They have a huge selection of movies, including current and older movies. I’m a woodworker and they have a large selection of reference material that I can pull from for projects. I recently got a book there that assisted with the design and build of my English style carpenters bench for hand tool woodworking

I am a resident and do use this library from time to time and have never had a bad experience until today 1/29/25. I went in to make a copy it is not a simple process if you are not familiar with their equipment. I went to one of the ladies working at the information/help desk and asked if there was another copier since someone was using it. I also asked if she could make the copy for me or show me what to do. Her answers and attitude were snarky and short. While waiting I decided it would be better to come back later and find someone else to help me. After about an hour I went back and went to the other lady wearing a black mask working at the same information/help desk . She helped me and was very kind as well as helpful. She is the kind of employee that the City should be proud to have.
