So Delicious! Good vegetarian options Great value for money, (all you can eat). Beverages cost extra, (no free refills). Clean: booths, tables, carpet, food bar, service station, grill and bathroom!
You select your food from a raw bar and then it is cooked on a large grill. You have multiple protein choices including beef, chicken, pork, salmon, shrimp and tofu. 2 kinds of noodles and a lot of vegetables and seasoning. There is a big risk of cross contamination but they do have an allergy protocol that will rinse down the grill and use a separate spatula to cook your food. I liked the Mongolian art through the building. There is a large parking lot behind the building
Chang's has undergone a fantastic transformation! Before Covid we used to stay away due to cleanliness concerns, but the recent changes are impressive. The environment is now spotless, and it's become a top pick for our family. The "make your own" food option is a hit with our kids, especially our 6-year-old who loves getting creative. Despite being cautious about buffets, Chang's has become a regular spot for us due to its family-friendly atmosphere. As a parent, finding a place that offers both fun for the kids and healthy choices is a win. Chang's has earned its spot on our go-to list, and we look forward to more enjoyable visits. Highly recommended for families!
UPDATE: Since the later part of 2025, the hot oil has returned in the form of a squeeze bottle by the grill, both before and after the grilling process. It isn't the same but at least it's back. Besides the prices going up again ($1-2), they've replaced my favorite hot oil with sambal sauce, which I think is a bad idea. I don't believe sambal will absorb as fast as hot oil, and I imagine the giant cooking surface will be dirtier and may easily contaminate other food cooking near by. It also has a different taste and texture. Another thing I'm gonna miss about the hot oil is the cool fire show you sometimes get if you mixed the right ingredients together. I wonder if that's the reason why they removed it? It's been around forever so I don't see why they'd wait so long. At least my birthd
Not my usual location. The one on hwy 99 is the best. At this location they burned half my noodles on the grill. Then they got my plate mixed up with some else. The taste was good though. The service was excellent. The atmosphere is blah. Really outdated and dust everywhere.
