Champion Burritos Mexican Food

Great place for authentic Mexican food. I have had their smothered tamales and their street tacos and both were excellent. The service of the food was fast, drinks and condiments generally self service which is appreciated. Proprietors spoke English well enough to communicate and the atmosphere is basic but perfectly fine for a quick meal. Price is normal for this kind of fare, plenty of food for the dollar. Overall a nice spot to grab lunch or a quick dinner.

PROs: Good location. Plenty of parking. Indoor seats. Friendly service. Food is good. The carne overflowed on my tacos. CONs: A fee was charged to use bank card. Approx $27 charged (with cash tip) we ordered Carne Asada Tacos & Steak & Eggs burrito. It's nice to have Northland places to get breakfast burritos rather than going South of the river.

Love these burritos! I've had several great experiences. Fresh ingredients and cooked to order. My only gripe would be they don't trim the steak so you can get a lot of fat chunks from time to time. It's pricey as well. I mean $15 for a burrito is crazy, but it is 2025 😭

The only evidence I have being here is an empty plate. I had their steak burrito with the hot sauces. The pair smelled so good I forgot to take a picture of the actual food. The only complaint I have is that they’d sweep and mop the entire dinning floor while still serving clients.

Good service, place was clean, but they really skimped out on the meat in my “burrito grande” mostly a potato and bean salad wrapped in tortilla. Very disappointing for $15. It should be a meat avalanche. The Tacos were good and saved the day. Probably won’t be coming back.
