Center Street Smoke House

If you're looking for somewhere to hang out, this is a great spot. Great atmosphere and fantastic service. Very friendly with natural conversation with the wait staff made us feel like guests at a house party and not just customers at a restaurant. The breadsticks with nacho cheese were perfect. Super soft and butter coated. The deviled eggs are also top notch, you can tell the person making them has spent a lot of time perfecting the recipe and method. Unfortunately the rest of our food didn't match that level. The meat was dry, and so was the cornbread. The cornbread also didn't taste like corn at all, more like a white bread roll. TLDR: Apps are great, entrees are mid.

Nice place to go and eat some good BBQ. The place itself and the bar are beautiful.

Has a very unique and fun atmosphere with plenty of space. The food was good but the service we received was shocking. Asked for a table for 2 and the waitress told the host to just “put them next to the bathrooms”. It wasn’t pleasant to hear or do since the place was half empty and there was able seating elsewhere. That isn’t the problem through, the ceiling was leaking on us and the table. The waitress told us to ignore it and avoid that part of the table. We endured it till the food came out and then asked if we could move. The waitress was wonderful but the situational awareness was off. Especially since the other tables were dry. Apparently the building leaks every time it rains so avoid going during that time.

Everything we ate here was delicious. The brisket and ribs were tender. The cornbread, Cajun dry rubbed wings, deviled eggs, pierogi and tater tots were all well made and had great flavor. The prices are very reasonable. Our server Elise was very nice and provided excellent service.

Food was great. Our server was great. Only downside was the wait for our food was a bit long and the restaurant wasnt busy at all.
