Center Street Grill & Smokehouse

Ordered the smoked beef brisket and ended up getting some mystery meet that looked like it had been flash frozen and they grilled it on the grill. It was tough, horrible and such poor quality I didn't even eat it. Wasted money. Horrible quality. Not smoked brisket. I don't know what that is, but it is not smoked beef brisket. I've seen better quality food in jail and in prison

Small local place with top- notch food and service. The staff is really friendly and super efficient. We ordered the meatloaf sandwich with onion rings and slaw and the grilled pimento cheese sandwich w/ fried green tomatoes and fries. Food came out quickly and everything was delicious. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Definitely will be going back to try the cowboy beans and burgers.

The food was excellent, the wait staff were helpful and courteous while focusing on efficiency. The proximity to Domtar & Eastman makes this a great place that’s both affordable and fast! The food portions are enormous but each bite has that deep Smokey flavor that comes along with true blue barbecue sauce. Their barbecue sauce reminds me of a mixture of Memphis and Carolina barbecue sauce. If you’ve never been here, I highly recommend it. Try the pulled pork sammich, make it a combo and get a very large drink as well for under $11!

I really dig this place. Another lunchtime staple for our time in Kingsport. One of the big 4. It's a typical American lunch type of restaurant. My dad wasn't really a fan but me and my brother loved it. I'd say its definitely worth giving a shot. It's just got a vibe to it that sets it apart.

Everything here is AMAZING! Have the best fries and ranch! Also have the best ribs we've ever had. Get ribs there often. There ribs have about 4 times more meat on them then any restaurant I've ever been. The meat falls off the bone. Juicy and so delicious! We get the full rack with 2 sides and split it. Prices are great! One of our top favorite local places in kingsport!
