Have you ever had baklava? No? Then try these! Due to where I live, there is no local shop so I have to wait till the weekend farmers markets open to purchase from a local basket that I know. But we found Cedars Pastries at a store and took a chance. I was thrilled from the first bite. They provide a mixture of fills and layouts, but all are delicious. Their location isn't too far from me and I can purchase it at a local shop, so I found my new somewhat local favorite!!!

Bought a small package of this company’s baklava at Lowe’s Foods. 1000% the absolute worst baklava I have had in my entire life. I had two bites before I decided it’s not edible. Just threw away $5. I with I googled reviews of this baklava before buying. Other people have had the same experience. I’m not only leaving a review here but also planning to contact the grocery and suggest they try this product. Hopefully they will stop carrying it. So bad. Need to go brush my teeth and drink some water. Yes. THAT bad.

Cedar baklava doesn't taste like made with pure cow ghee. Label says used vegetable shortening and palm oil. So pastry layers are just sticky due to excessive sugar syrup but remains underbaked within due to use of vegetable shortening. Earlier BJ's used to give a big tray of baklava which used to taste like real baklava made using real, pure cow ghee means (clarified butter). Cedar baklava is really a Bad 😞 Bad product.

This Baklava is so not authentic. Real baklava has honey in it and this has corn syrup. Its junk food. Go to Greece for the real deal.

Good stuff, tasty pastries. I picked up a load going to Costco. The guy at the shipping and receiving was so nice and gave me some fresh pastries. You should try it The loading dock is very tight not recommended to new drivers
