Cedar Chicken

Im disappointed in my order. The Farooj was not fresh at all, given it was small but I know it was not cooked the same day. It looked like it's been cooked yesterday. The chicken meat was brown under the skin and dry and separating from the skin which was stiff hard. The grape leaves couldn't be eaten, took one bite and they were thrown away. The only thing we liked was the fattoush, it had fresh vegetables. The toum was good.

This is a fairly new establishment but when I say the food is amazing, OMG the food is amazing. I have a thing for Mediterranean food, so I’ve tried most of the restaurants in Dearborn that has this type of food. With no exaggeration I would give this place the number 1 rating ( first place) when I comes down to the best Mediterranean food. I am a foodie !!!!! Let’s get into why I love their food over all of the hundreds of other Mediterranean spots in Dearborn 1. Food is always fresh hands down 2 Quality guaranteed!!!!! 3. Cedar Chicken was a mixed experience for me. The rotisserie chicken was a big disappointment — not only was it much smaller than expected for a $20 price tag, but it also lacked flavor and barely had any meat on it. For that price, you can get a much bigger and better chicken elsewhere. The only reason this place gets three stars is because the rice and sides are actually well seasoned and taste good. Unfortunately, the chicken itself is a fail, which is hard to overlook.

We were in the mood for some Rotisserie chicken sandwiches so we stopped by and were glad we did. The sandwiches were excellent, had quite a bit of chicken and just the right amount of toum. The place is super clean and the owners are super nice.

Look no further! I ordered from here on DoorDash one night wanting to try something different, and let me tell you, this place had me hooked on the first bite! I've never had chicken shwarama so juicy and flavorful! And the portions are incredible! I ordered the first time the shwarama dinner and holy wow was that a lot of food! But soo worth it! Had enough for lunch the next day and it was still just as delicious! The second time I ordered from here I was pleasantly surprised that they hooked me up with more of their awesome chicken lemon soup since I asked for no rice with my meal. I'm a diabetic so I try to avoid rice, but I did try it the first time I ordered here and it was really well seasoned!
