Catrinas Mexican cuisine

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the region. The family and I stop here regularly when we are passing through town. Clean restaurant, friendly staff, large portions all at a reasonable price. There is a large variety to select from on the menu. Only complaint is that the meat is lacking seasoning. The al pastor and Barilla had little to no flavor.

I asked the locals which Mexican restaurant in town was “the best.” Catrina’s topped the list. We went and recommendations weren’t wrong. I got chicken with spinach, which is one of my faves. The chicken was cooked “blackened” style. Everything about this joint was good. It’s better than anything Mexican in Kearney

Every time I think I’ve found my favorite dish… I find something new equally delicious! Fajitas, nachos, burritos, tacos. No way to go wrong. And their margs are amazing. Wont be disappointed!

This might be the most pathetically excuse for Mexican food ever. I don’t leave reviews and don’t wish to remember this meal at all, but hopefully it’ll save you. Ordered takeout on a Tuesday evening. Upon pickup, they sat the takeout bag on the table, rang me up, and never said a word the entire time. Got home and was missing one of our entrees. Called to tell them it was forgotten and before I could say I was on my way to come back and get it, rudely asked if I was going to come get it. Of course I am, I paid for it. I jokingly asked if they deliver and the guy in the phone sighed and grumbled to someone else. Got the quesabirrias and the beef broth literally looked like water and smelled rotten. Price was much higher then what was listed. Food was decent but there are better options in kearney or North Platte
