Catrina’s Latin Food

Small, family restaurant that serves really good food. The chips and salsa was good as well. I'll be back.

As a California native for almost 40 years, who know lives in Colorado I give this place 5 stars. I stopped trying Mexican restaurants because places where just mediocre at best. I was at Safeway and decided to give this place a try and was so happy when I walked inside. The bright colors and picture menu on the wall reminded me of the Bay Area. There are so many choices. It took me a good while to decide what I wanted because I wanted everything. 🤣 I’ve gone a couple times and eventhing is always delicious.

You will not find a warmer host or tastier food in Elizabeth. Offers a broad spectrum of classics and a bunch of other items for the more adventurous. If I have to feed a group of 5-10 people quick this is where I go. When I have time to pause for breakfast or lunch and get a break this is where I go every time. The huevos rancheros are a gift from the gods! Absolutely incredible. Overall very reliable, fresh delicious Mexican food served with love. Great food, great people.

I absolutely love Catrina’s Mexican restaurant—they’re the best in Douglas County! We absolutely love Lupita and the amazing kitchen staff. It doesn’t matter if it’s 7:55 and they close at 8:00…. we just received our food at 8:07 PM….. It’s good It’s good they still treat us like royalty. They let us enjoy ourselves and savor their delicious food without making us feel rushed. Every time we go there, we’re greeted warmly, the food is always hot and amazing, and they take such great care of us. It’s truly a spectacular experience every time, and they are by far my favorite restaurant!

Totally authentic, delicious food, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Clearly a favorite community spot, many local people, greeted by name, as they came in the door. This was a random stop on a drive through the countryside, but truly memorable and worth a return visit.
