Catalina Offshore Products has been a San Diego established place for fresh and high quality fresh seafood. We finally dropped in on a Saturday to check this place out. They have varieties of fresh and frozen seafood and a la carte items such as poke, fish ceviche and sell condiments, drinks, specialty salts and sushi preparing items, etc. They even offer grass fed beef from a locally sourced producer. We tried their well marinated calamari salad and the delightful fresh fish ceviche. Love the fresh seafood quality and will be back to try something else.

I’m surprised there are not a lot of people know this place. I mean, here is already pretty popular, but not as good as it should be. When I recommend Catalina Offshore on Little Red Book, it got over 2500 views in one day. People love to know where to buy the best seafood in San Diego, not only limited in supermarkets and Farmers markets. My husband and I always come here for fresh fishes, shellfish and uni! Yes I love Uni, here has the best price for the most fresh Uni. And we also brought some sashimi back, they are amazing too!

This is a hidden seafood market gem. I think it is one of the best seafood markets in San Diego because of the high quality and freshness of the seafood. I LOVE to buy the live crabs and do a cajun crab boil! They always have random but delicious spices and sauces that compliment the fresh fish, shrimp, scallops, more fish. They also have useful tools like oyster shuckers, claw crackers and other useful seafood tools. They also do discounts on bulk orders. The staff is super friendly. This is my over-the-top place to go when I'm making something for a special occasion. And, it's so good that I've become very good at finding a way to make any seafood-related meal "special". My sister is a professional chef, and turned me on to this place. In one sense, it's a nice fish market with a few dozen fresh selections and a nice mix of all the things you'd need to make a nice meal. But, in the important sense, the fish is fresh and delicious. As in the kind of delicious that you only get from fresh and delicious fish. Hello from Michigan. I wanted to do a special gift for my family. Was searching around sources and found this was recommended on Reddit. Everyone loved the sushi grade products. My brother said it was the best uni he’s had! And it was frozen when shipped! Definitely recommend
