Castañeda's Mexican Food

We grab a bite before heading to the CV Firebirds game. Came to Castaneda's ordered the rolled taco supreme, 4 beef tacos, #11 fish tacos rice/beans, kids meal. It took longer than expected to receive our food. The rolled tacos looked good. However, if you look closely, the lettuce is browning, and it is all lettuce. Absolutely no flavor in the guacamole, meat, & salsa. I am very disappointed in the quality of the food at this location.

Satisfactory, at best. Although my visit to this Castañeda’s was more than a year ago, I can recall having a decent lunch meal from here. It’s not flashy inside, it feels like you’re transported to a Mexican fast food restaurant from the 90’s with the way the dining area setup and menu boards. I settled for what they call the “Super Roll Tacos,” which are taquitos loaded with an assortment of toppings and salsa, along with an horchata. The service was relatively quick, the food was at a desirable temperature, and the drink was refreshing.

My visit here in 2023 was ok. The fish tacos were good, everything else was pretty bad. It was a late night and it was one of the only restaurants available and it somehow went under my overall expectations. At least the staff were not bad at the time.

Worst Mexican Food place I've ever tried! Over priced disgusting food! The carne asada fries were soggy and oily. The hard shell beef tacos were dripping a lot of oil as I bit into them. And the "Street tacos" were a disappointment. I would not recommend this place at all!!

This restaurant is one of the few that are open 24 hours. Very wide selection of Mexican food when you have the munchies at 3AM. My favorite so far is the Carne Asada Burrito which I highly recommend the first time you go there. There is also a great selection of salsa from which to pick from. Finally, they are very fast at making your order.
