Casa vieja Mexican Food

This is a wonderful place to eat. I love Spanish, food and so does my family. The staff is very friendly, prompt & personable. I also see a lot of the same people every time that we come to this place, which is a great sign that there’s not constantly new staff. The food is amazing, absolutely amazing! We eat here all the time. That’s one of the things that I love is that it’s so consistent, reasonably priced with specials just about every time that we’ve came here. The margaritas are awesome. Just a wonderful place, we have been 101% happy every time we have been here.

Called in a order on taco Tuesday for 3 soft chicken tacos. I got three beef tacos swimming in a soup. I know it's a cheap lunch on Tuesday, but still .....

We recently moved to the area and found this gem. Friendly and helpful staff. The warm chips, sauces, and dip provided when we sat down are very yummy. The risk is eating too much before the dish of food. I enjoyed the chicken tamales and my husband likes the chicken pablanos. I don't like rice in general and appreciated the excellent substitution of sautéed veggies. This meal becomes 2 1/2 meals for us. This is quickly become our go to, returning 4 times within 2 months.

Such yummy Mexican food! This little stop on the side of the road is adorable and very tasty. The burritos were giant, and super delicious. We really enjoyed the chicken fajitas burrito. Everything was very flavorful down to the rice and beans served on the side. The standout meal, though, was what is pictured below, served in a molcajete. We cannot remember for our lives what this was called, and we can’t find it on the online menu. It had meat, shrimp, nopales, and fresh cheese, and it stayed hot for the entire meal. Our server got really excited when my dad said he wanted to order this. If you order this, please reply to my review to tell me what it’s called! Highly recommend you stop by this place.

My husband and I were passing through and decided to stop here for dinner. I ate the taco salad and he ate the birria. Both were so delicious! The service was great, timing of the food was great! It’d be a comfort go to spot if I lived in town.
