Casa Las Katarinas

My Husband and I had Valentine's dinner and it was superb. Nice portions and everything was delightful. We ordered the Sweetheart Valentine's Special. The dessert was excellent too. Money well spent. We were satisfied from start to finish. Thank you Staff, we will be back.

Best Mexican food in town, not even close. Staff is always smiling and nice. Dakota helped us and took time to make us feel extremely welcome.......this is better then Maria's there i said it.

We had such a nice, quiet dinner at Casa Las Katarina’s. We ordered chile rellenos, cheese enchiladas, and churros, and everything was really delicious. My husband couldn’t stop talking about his chile relleno—he said it was just like his mom used to make, which is a huge compliment. Our server was super nice, and we had a fun time chatting with her. The restaurant was decorated for the holidays and had a nice fire in the fireplace. Overall, a really good, relaxing meal. We’ll definitely be back.

July Review: As a party of 3, out on an exceptionally hot day, we were very happy to be invited in the moment Casa Las Katarinas was open. The place was spiffy clean, the air was very cool and comforting, staff was fabulous and the food was delicious, fresh and fast. We also stayed for dessert which almost never happens for us....(excellent flan, churos and bananas). Recommended business right off 49 at Alta Sierra, between Auburn and Grass Valley.... Did I mention the wait staff were extremely well groomed and accommodating?? I really enjoyed being here Dakota our server. He was awesome. I wanted a Mai Tai. He didn't have all the rums yet to make it. So he improvised. It was delicious. It's called the Char-Broil. I hope you try it.. Of course the food was delicious. Thank you Dakota see you soon..😊
