Listen… I’ve eaten at more Dominican restaurants in the valley than I’d like to admit (my arteries keep whispering “slow down, bro” but my soul keeps saying “otra vez, otra vez”). Out of all of them, THIS spot? Top five, no question. The ladies running the show here are basically Dominican food ninjas. They’re fast, friendly, and they hand you a plate like they’re sliding you a secret treasure map to flavor town. Portions? Not “normal human portions.” Nah. They’re giving “grandma heard you haven’t eaten in three days” portions. Now let me talk about my go-to: the oven roasted chicken. I don’t know what sorcery they’re working with in that kitchen, but this bird comes out JUICY like it’s been baptized in flavor. Most oven roasted chicken is drier than the Sahara halfway through — not here
This was my first visit to this restaurant, and the food was excellent. I've been to many Spanish food restaurants, and this one stands out as one of my favorites in terms of taste. The customer service was also very pleasant. There is plenty of seating in a nice, calm area. I will definitely return in the future. Thank you.
Eugenia is an amazing server. Extremely attentive, very fun to engage in conversation(especially if you’re Dominican) & hospitality is top tier. She’s been working here the longest for what I can remember, and she hasn’t Changed her amazing service 💗 If you’re planning on dining in this authentic Dominican restaurant, ask for her. You won’t be disappointed.
I had no expectations about this place, I was just walking by and decided to stop in for takeout. Wow! Food was amazing. Best food I’ve had since I recently moved to the area.
The best value, quality, quantity, taste, and authenticity $10 can buy in this town! And that's UNDER $10 after a 20% tip! Casa De Compo is proof that food is an universal language. After asking "What's good?", I was served a delicious, falling-off-the-bone chicken and equally tasty pulled pork with rice and beans, some bell peppers and sauce. The portion was very generous, yet I devoured the whole thing in seconds. It's THAT good! Atmosphere only gets one less star not for the spartan decor - I actually appreciate the simplicity and homey feel of the place. It's just that the fans were on max and they were loud and strong. Maybe a technical difficulty that will be solved next time you visit. Today, I was excited to go back to my (now) favorite Zest again (it would have been the fourth
