Great place. The staff in the children’s room are wonderful and very knowledgeable. Staff at circulation is kind, caring, and understanding. The library is decorated with lots of different plants and the carver room has some cool history of the town. Upstairs is a quiet place to study. There is also a “seed library” upstairs, where gardeners can discreetly swap seeds with others around town. I started a “Seeds Across America” project with my daughter where we mail seeds all over the country for free. We have utilized this area and have dropped off and received seeds here quite a few times. My kids love going there and there are lots of activities and events the library plans each month.
Same day appointment for passport application very friendly staff and very easy to talk to
Great library very clean and beautiful building great staff but the first two pictures that pop up aren't the actual library the third picture is the library at night it looks like but the first two are of a residential house not carver public library
This is an updated review ; It still rates 5(*). Masks are only required if you aren't feeling well/personal choice. Library location is sandwiched between Carver PD & Town Hall with plenty of parking. On Meadowbrook street side of library, there are (5) side parking spaces, very convenient for people with kids, us seniors, anyone handicapped ♿️ can just park and then enter from ground level into library. It seems handicapped friendly as all doors are designed to open electronically , there are elevators to take you upstairs, plenty of computers to use, although I will say that their audio book section is very sparse, compared to their DVD section. Staff is fantastic! Very friendly and helpful. The library is huge with plenty of room, you won't feel cramped in here. Chairs are comfortable
I like this library a ton, it's clean, has a great location, and the staff are the absolute best. Yet, I'm giving this place one star for two reasons and to hopefully inspire some action on the part of this library branch: - It is LOUD. Which defeats the purpose of a library. From 2:45-6pm all the kids from school come in and treat the place like a playground. The worst part about this isn't the kids, it's the lack of any form of discipline by the adults. At the risk of sounding like an old scrooge, none of the librarians, teachers/tutors, or parents enforce any quiet. None. Zero. Zip. From this standpoint, one of the most frustrating "libraries" I've ever been in. - Given all the noise, you're left wondering, where are all the study areas? There are none. Well, there are, four tables l
