We came in tonight for the first time since we don’t have this location in our hometown. We were very excited to try it, especially since we are visiting from New Jersey. Unfortunately, when we first walked in, the vibe felt a little off. We weren’t greeted, and while we were trying to look at the ice cream display, we were repeatedly asked if we were together, even after confirming that we were. It also felt like we were being pressured to hurry and make a decision. The two girls working at the time came across as having a bit of an attitude, which made the experience feel unwelcoming. I am always satisfied with my visits to Carvel! I don’t have any near me and they never disappoint when I have a sweet tooth. It was my first time actually trying the Strawberry sundae in a waffle bowl. I enjoyed the taste and will probably be ordering this from this point on. I add the pound cake in as well to have the best of both worlds. Overall, I don’t have any complaints! Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a nice treat that you stop by!

Stopped in on a Monday around 11:30 am. The place was totally empty. The lady who served me was alright…not the best customer service, but passable. I wasn’t overly impressed by my flavor (blue raspberry) but I thought the pricing was reasonable. That’s what I can say on the positive. Also, the place wasn’t the cleanest. It’s too bad, because I believe it’s actually a very nice looking shop (long as you don’t look down)

The girls are great at this place but the young guy needs to be retrained for sure. He charged for the large size, large cup and than filled it halfway only! This is a major rip off! It’s the size of a decent small cup or maybe a medium but definitely not large. My husband even asked him to make sure it’s the right size and he did this. We come to this location every week and lately this keeps happening… I hope the owner will actually do something about this, since talking with the employee doesn’t help at all.

I found myself wanting some soft serve after a long Saturday shift at work. Someone mentioned this Carvel to me and believing him to be a friend I could trust I went. After eating it I concluded he was a true friend as the tasty treat did not disappoint. I was a little shaken by the absence of orange sorbet but this is earth and as all things out of heaven are this Carvel was not perfect but those standards are not realistic. All in all a great experience. Great space to sit down too. Would eat again.
