Food is always great. Prices are great. You really can’t eat anywhere cheaper in Douglas. However, the young girls working the registers on the inside have no customer service skills. No smile. They will stare at you like you’re a bother and you have to coach them through your order. With good service, this is a 5 star establishment.

Carter’s Restaurant in Douglas really hit the spot. The battered fries were excellent, the chicken was top notch, and everything came out hot and fresh. Service was friendly, fast, and welcoming—exactly what you hope for in a local spot. Great food, great people. Definitely worth the stop!

The food is always hot and fresh.The people are always nice.This is one of our favorite places to go.There isn't much of a waite time.The prices are right.Try it out.

Made a delivery to a customer nearby and checked the reviews about this place. If u check any of my other reviews, I've haven't had the best luck with many chicken places.. The is very good food, in my opinion.. had the 3 piece dinner with fries and roll for about $6.50.. Everything was hot and fresh. Not seasoned too much but just right...will definitely be back when in the area.. reread someones post about prices too high and small portions. U may wanna get out this town cause ur not gonna find prices any cheaper than these

Customer service really isn't there at this place. But the food makes up for it because the chicken okra and Mac and cheese is where it is at. They also have really good apple pies and grilled chicken tenders. You can't beat the price though they are the cheapest place in town to go eat at by fast my favorite place to go just have to over look the rude service you get from the employees. Plus always check your plate before you leave if you get it to go.
