Carrier Street Bed and Breakfast

We loved staying here. It was clean and the beds were comfy. But the breakfast was the best - fresh scones, fruit, yogurt, scrambled eggs and sausage all delivered in a picnic basket. Our kids couldn't stop talking about how cool and delicious it was. We will definitely stay here again.

The Nilsens provide a warm, comfortable setting. We stayed in the cabin. Wonderfully private, yet spacious. Sherri's breakfasts were both delicious and varied, including home-baked coffee cakes, fresh fruit and savory dishes. The cabin features lots of natural lighting. Don't be surprised if you're greeted in the morning by browsing deer! And the nearby Catskills provide many opportunities for enjoying the natural beauty of this area.

Rented both apartments with a group of friends traveling to the area for a women's conference in Liberty. Innkeeper Sherri was wonderful to do business with and she can sure cook! Breakfast was delivered hot to our table both days at the exact time requested and she was very helpful without being intrusive. Both upstairs and downstairs were immaculately clean and we slept 7 adults comfortably. This B & B is located in a quiet neighborhood and would make a great base for a Sullivan county vacation. Price was unbelievably reasonable for the facility. I liked both apartments but the switch on "wood stove" ( it was gas) was really nice downstairs. Upstairs had a bigger bath room and living sleeping areas were better defined with separate livingroom/bedroom/kitchen areas. That said both were

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by this place. It was very clean and spacious. The bed was a little soft for us but still comfortable. The owners were very pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast was very good. Very affordable. Liberty is bit rundown. We were staying to go to the Bethel Woods museum.

This is a great place to stay if you like the 1950s! The house has two apartments, both of which we rented. Although full of nostalgic items, they also have all the modern facilities you could want - particularly the upstairs apartment which has a full kitchen. Upstairs also has a mezzanine level with a porthole window - great views towards the Catskills. The owner is very helpful and friendly - he runs a great store in Liberty which sells ephemera from the 1950s (mainly). You can even get wi-fi, but ask for the best spot to sit to use your laptop! Great location for exploring the Catskills.
