Carnitas Mi Rancho

Stopped in for lunch today in Moorpark and I was pleasantly surprised. This place specializes in carnitas burritos and tacos, so I ordered two carnitas tacos and they were seriously tasty. The tortillas were excellent, the portion sizes were huge, and everything tasted fresh. The restaurant itself was also very clean and well kept, which I really appreciate. Even though I didn’t take any pictures, this spot is 100% worth checking out if you’re in Moorpark and craving a good carnitas taco. This was my first time here, but definitely not my last — highly recommend. I’ll be back soon! This place rocks — Local Love Approved!

Basically American food disguised as Mexican. No seasoning on the Carnitas . It's the seasoning that makes it Carnitas, hello. Not boiled pork. Salsa was very weak. Very small portions of unseasoned rice and beans. I would not recommend. At least the portion sizes were decent. Only reason I gave a 3 rating on the food. Posting photo of their idea of a Taco

I love the tortillas a Mano they make there. And the way the pack their salsas. An the Togo plate. All ready. That's good. In case you don't want to stand up and go ask the guys for a Togo and a bag. They give you all of that together. Smart and simple.

WOW IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY. I BROUGHT MY COWORKERS HERE FOR LUNCH ONE DAY AFTER WORK. THE LINE WAS OUT THE DOOR 🚪 MAJORITY WERE TO GO ORDERS. WE ORDERED CARNITAS, BUCHE, HAND MADE TORTILLAS 😋 AND 🐷 CUERITOS. 🔥 💣 THE SALSAS WERE ALSO SPICY 🌶️ AND WERE MOUTH WATERING. THE OLACE WAS SPOTLESS AS WELL AS THE RESTROOM.

Overall good experience. I recommend eating the tacos in the restaurant or in your car because the tortillas will get soggy quick. The beans did lack flavor but the tacos made up for it. You're not going for the beans anyways. Although the sided came in small containers the tacos were filling enough to make up for it. Below are some pros and cons. Pros: Tacos are big and filling Pork is soft, juicy and flavorful The rice was amazing Agua frescas are sweet, delicious and refreshing Plenty of parking Employees are fast and courteous Cons: The sides come in small quantities Beans were basic and lacked flavor and spices
