California Bun

Moorpark has an amazing location that offers great service with a warm heart. They have a wide variety of delicious sandwiches served in buns. Just ask for the BUNCH OF BUNS: 6 pack or 12 pack! Their EATZZA PIZZA and PHILLY CHEEZ are must-tries. Both are loaded with flavor and will leave you craving more. Don’t forget to try their CRISPY TOTS! They’re incredibly delicious and a great side dish to any meal.

I got 4 buns: - Chicken BBQ 2/5 This was alright but good have been done better. Overall, unmemorable. - Meatball 1/5 This was really bad. Feels like old food and the taste was not good. The bun itself was okay but the meat inside had a weird taste. - BBQ Seoul 2/5 Interesting texture and the taste was below average. Bun was damaged. The sauce was alright but I wouldn’t try again. - Veggie Voom (egg) 1/5 The veggies were not mixed together, the tomatoes were on one side of the bun and spinach in the other… a little weird but the overall taste was fine. Definitely not fresh though. And I also got tatertots, they were average and actually not greasy, so that’s good.

I had first tried California Bun when they opened and I loved it! Ever since then we have been coming back as often as we can every weekend! A favorite of mine is the Seven Word coffee, It’s delicious!

Yum!! Wow this place is amazing. My favorite is chorizo and egg but my kids love the Mac n cheese one, hubby loves the BBQ and pizza. Even the Arnold Palmer is delicious! Run don’t walk, gem of a place!

My family visits California Bun several times per month. The buns are delicious, and I love the variety. Don’t sleep on their specialty drink menu either. I sometimes come here just for the espresso-based drinks and matcha. Lastly, I’m typically a fries person, but their tots are the best I’ve ever had - nice and salty and super crispy.
