11/10! I don’t know what I loved more —the food, the drinks, the space or the staff! The trusty team behind this amazing spot has perfected Mexican food. The portion sizes were generous, but we still had to try almost everything on the menu. They truly take pride in their craft and provide exceptional service. I will definitely be back!

Amazing food and atmosphere in this simple backyard carnitas focused restaurant. The cochinita pibil tacos con queso and margaritas are also awesome.

Yearning and pining for it to reopen. This place made people who said New York doesn't have good Mexican food look utterly foolish. Everything was superlatively good, from the first bites of guacamole (they kept a battery of seasoned molcajetes to serve it in) to the last whiffs of strikingly bittersweet flan. But the tacos (especially the cochinita) were show-stopping. I'd sell a kidney to Gofundme this place back to life.

A special experience. Family style Mexican food down a back alley in Queens. The menu is posted every week on Facebook and Instagram. I recommend messaging them on Facebook to make they’ll have a table for you. There are only 4. We had birria, carnitas and cochinita pibil. We also had guacamole and agua chiles to start. Tamarind margarita was a huge hit. If you get the chance, go!!
