Carmel Haifa

The absolute best Middle Eastern food West of the Mediterranean! Hummus is perfection, and the shwarma Haifa features the best of both worlds with 2 falafel inside with tahini, hot sauce, pickles and lettuce. I always aff a kufte kebab, and take extra hummus and baklava to go. Worth a 90+ minute drive each way!

The food is good, I agree with others who mentioned the food could be more authentic. I enjoy seeing that this is a family business and even the kids are out to work! We visited shortly after they opened for lunch, while we waited for our order I noticed the floors were extremely dirty, it made me wonder the cleanliness of the food prep area.

the food was amazingly delicious and the cashier is so nice just like the service (I'm defenatly recommened that place to My friends and anyone who like to eat a good swarma) + the original turkish drink is awesome too

It was once one of my favorite spots when I used to.work in whipanny way back in 2014-16 and I keep on going back once in a way to revive the memories but it keeps on disappointing me. We always try and eat there but it strictly a take out kind of place . The lamb pieces were chewy, the overall flavour was missing . 99% of people do a take out here . And mostly with having tasted a lot of middle eastern food all over NY/NJ area, this place feels like they have lost the authenticity and cater more to western palate . For people living in the area it might be there best bet but someone who would go there to eat from far I would say stay away and I am going to remind myself to do the same the next time I am passing by and feel the urge to eat there

Chicken was tender and rich with flavor. Chicken shawarma tastes as grilled chopped chicken not as regular shawarma on the stick with some crunchy part. I like the bread with onion and salsa. The garlic sauce very tasty. The staff was friendly.
