Customer Reviews
We order Carlo’s for dinner often! Almost weekly! We had our son’s birthday this last week and we ordered 2 party trays of pizza, 75 wings & a large catered size Cesar salad. We originally hoped for the pizza to be thin crust as that’s what we usually always ordered but were informed that the party size only comes in deep dish, but we were ok to give it a try. None the less, everything was amazing! Fresh & hot! We always order wings & knew those would be a hit. There were a lot of compliments on the salad! Also a first try for me and will definitely be apart of our future orders! We also just might be rotating out a deep dish pizza and thin crust from now on. Carlo’s exceeded our expectations and we are so glad we chose them. Definitely recommend for large events & or just a regular pizza
TL;DR: good value, killer garlic bread, great salad & worth a stop. Overall, you get a lot of bang for your buck here…$25 got us a large pizza, a salad, and a good sized bread with garlic sauce. I liked the pizza! Crust was solid, pepperoni was good, nothing too crazy but on the nail for what we needed. The bread and garlic sauce were my fav,no question about that. Wouldn’t say it’s my go-to Friday night spot, but I’d come back once a month or so. Solid find. Staff was friendly & quick!
Carlo's pizza used to be my go to, but I guess they've changed the recipe. The crust used to have some fluff and the last couple times it was flat and didn't taste fresh.
I went because they offered Chicago style pizza. Pizza was ok. Worst thing was, they gave one of my bread orders to someone who ordered after me. My 30 minute wait that I arrived on time for, took an additional 40 minutes, partly because they didn't realize their mistake for over 10 minutes while my other 3 items were sitting there done. This was nearly a $50 order. Won't be back. Other options are better. No discount was offered for the extra wait. They just shrugged it off as no big deal.
Ordered Chicago style and was not impressed. The cheese was rubbery even though it was hot and the pieces literally fell apart as I was trying to plate them because it wasn’t cut through. Also, the pizza was so wet and soggy! It was so soggy that the paper underneath was adhered to all the pieces of pizza. By the time I cut the pieces again, peeled the paper off, and served the slices, we were eating slop that tasted like pizza. It really is a shame because we were really hoping for the best and enjoyed reading all the good reviews. Unfortunately, we did not enjoy it. We won’t be returning unless it’s free because I am not spending $25 on the same mistake twice.
