Caribbean Fusion Fritay

Good - **** Glad to be the first reviewer of this food truck. Since Sisserous is the only caribbean restaurant in town, I was searching for another one. Found the advertisement in instagram and thought to try. This food truck is near 51st and Lewis. Most of their items are expensive but they have $12 specials (jerk chicken bowl, jerk shrimp, jerk tacos). Tried the jerk chicken tacos combo special which comes with 2 jerk chicken tacos and 2 plantains(unsweetened) and a bottle of water. Loved the flavor. I have been to Jamaica so I can say the jerk chicken was authentic. Their spicy sauce adds the heat to it. Good experience overall but I also wish they had more quantity (maybe 3 tacos for $12 hehe) and reduce their prices a little bit for regular items.

i got the oxtail bowl ( $15) and the curry chicken ( $18). im glad i tried the oxtail first because it was delicious! it came in a tiny bowl with rice and peas, fried plantain and slaw. tried the curry chicken next. the chicken was hard and very very dry. the sauce was bright yellow and tasted like plain tumeric. no spice. no flavor. i've never had bad curry chicken before, until now. dont get the curry chicken!!!

I must have come on an off day because the food was not up to par with how I'm used to Jamaican food tasting. The portion size was OK. The rice & peas and Caribbean salad were bland and needed salt, some seasoning would've been nice. The jerk chicken was half-way decent, 1 leg, 3/4 of a thigh, and needed salt. Half the chicken pieces needed jerk seasoning. They weren't coated at all, like a light brushing. Overall, the service was AMAZING but I doubt if I'll return again. The food just wasn't tasty enough for me.

Jerk chicken is legit. Better than sisserous, I'd like more heat but hey this is tulsa. Oxtails on point.

Very flavorful and a good amount of food for the price, food didn’t take long at all get. Will definitely be back!
