Carbones Faribault

I'm a trucker and come through Faribault at times and I like their spaghetti dinner..I order it when I'm a half hour away and it's ready for pickup. It's always been delicious and flavorful. On Nov 19th I ordered and picked up. Got parked at Aldi's and started to eat. Oh my Lord! Something has changed and not for the good. Not an ounce of flavor in any of it including the meatballs. The sauce has the texture that some chef school idiot put corn starch in it. The noodles were completely overcooked and are so mushy they won't stay together. I ordered tomatoes to be put in it. I'm expecting chopped right, which is what a logical person would assume. No, whole cherry tomatoes just thrown in. Terrible. Very disappointed. Pizza crust is like saltines crackers which I don't like, others might, it is piled with way too much cheep tasteless mozzarella. Burgers were like rubber, blue cheese I added amounted to about a teaspoon, a complete waste of money. Service was very good and friendly. The atmosphere is sports Bar. I'll go back again to try smokehouse selections to see if those are any good. So far, unimpressed with the food.

Very good food, full menu, friendly servers, kept drinks full, no wait time.

Pizza ingredients are good. I’ve never in my life had someone make a raw pizza . I guess there is a first for everything - I ate the toppings I was driving from Mpls to Kc for the weekend and o knew the drive was gonna be long. For the price get something else if you are driving through. Sitting down at the restaurant I would of returned the food

NO TO GO ORDERS! I live a ways away from here but it’s typically my favorite location. I ordered a French dip to go and it came with no dip and about 12 fries. The whole point of a French dip is the au jus…. When I got home 40min later (yes, I typically love it I make this trip) I was disappointed to see no onions, cheese, au jus and a pitiful 12 fries. (No joke, I counted them) First time ordering to-go and will not make that mistake again.
