Crack Of Dawn bakehouse and market

Stopped in after seeing a review that “if you stop at one place in Faribault, make it this one!” I’m not sure if I’d swear on that with my life but it was certainly delicious. We ordered a baked good, two of the sandwiches, and two coffees. A tad spendy but that’s more normal by the day. The baked good was good, but I do wish it was served warm; I’m never as siked about pastries when they’re cold and stiff. The sandwiches were delicious and the star of the show, I really liked the bread. My boyfriend said his sandwich wasn’t warm and had too much cheese. I will say that my sandwich was warm so I’m not entirely sure where the disconnect was there but it was one of my favorite parts of the meal. As for the coffees, nothing special. Overall, it was a good meal but I don’t think I’d go back!

It's your lucky day if they have the buttermilk granola big ol' muffins on feature. Slight crunch on top and super fluffy (never dry) in the middle with a touch of cinnamon. My absolute favorite. They freeze well too!

Awesome stop for some local baked delicious goods. Chai tea, caramel roll and bacon cheese scone with an egg in the middle - soooo good! Totally worth it!

I was there a year ago today, as I live in the Twin Cities. My son worked in Faribault for the day and I tagged along. Crack of Dawn Bakehouse was my first stop, and it was fantastic! The cinnamon roll was so delicious, it took me back to my childhood at my Grandma's house. So fluffy and fresh and the frosting, oh my! I was 10 years old again, except I was also drinking a really fresh, nice cup of rich coffee with a good amount of cream (oops, a little too much!) and sugar. So good! ☕ Someday, I'll be back!

Such an amazing locally owned restaurant. Too notch homemade soup and delicious panni! A must go to in Faribault
