Carbondale Public Library

One of my favorite places in any city is the library. The Carbondale Public Library is a great place to catch up on your reading and just spend time with your little ones. This library offers/hosts many children's events all year long and they have a pretty extensive collection, both new and old for both children and adults alike. They recently expanded their children's section to encompass the entire second floor, and the transformation is wonderful (pictures provided). If the library does not have a certain book in stock they offer interlibrary loans from other libraries, so you always have a way to get the materials you are looking for. I take my two Autistic Grandchildren here , they love the playroom ..And the staff is especially nice and helpful to them. It’s nice to know children can go to a safe surrounding..

Good but do not go when it is alien fest it is crowded takes a long time too get food vendors make things to pricey I like the books

This library is perfect! Upon entering you’re greeted by staff behind the desk. They were eager to offer I formation on where to find specific things in the library, which is also easy to find as everything is labeled. Signing up for a library card was easy. We especially loved upstairs. We took a 4 mo th old and 10 month old for their first library visit and we were blown away with the infant room and all they offer the community.

I would like to say very good library for new in towns and community was amazing. " Stephanie Spaid " was amazing person to spend her time with us 1:1 and let us know around what would be best. We would appreciate her time . And make sure you stop by for Stephanie Spaid!!!
