Food was ok, but definitely could have been better. Portions could have been a little bigger for the price. The fries were soggy and needed a few more minutes in the fryer. There was definitely no old bay on the fries. It may have been an old bay type seasoning, but did not have any salt in it. The waitress barely checked on us. They also tack on autogratuity for parties over 7, and then ask if you want to leave an additional tip. Volume for the music system needs to be turned down a bit. The seats and floors were sticky, and my wife told me the bathrooms were not very clean. Overall impression was less than stellar. We definitely won't be back.
This location is right on the boardwalk with ocean views. The food was decent with moderate prices. I had the Cali Burger. It was good but the meat was a little dried out. The service was decent. The drinks were very good. The biggest complaint which I’m sure is almost everyone’s complaint are the aggressive seagulls. We sat outside but had to move indoors due to the birds coming for our food. Just about every group that sat outside had to move indoors to avoid the birds stealing their food. The birds were so brazen as to start flying inside the restaurant. I hope this restaurant finds a humane way of keeping the birds away from the patrons.
We enjoyed our visit here. Service was good and food was pretty good. You are on the boardwalk, don’t expect gourmet food.
Food: Weak. Overpriced. My crab cake was mostly breading MIA 🦀 Crab. The vegetables were definitely microwaved, I tasted the freezer burn. The mashed potatoes were more than likely instant mashed potatoes. Certainly not worth anywhere near $30 or half that. Service: Exceptional. Lilly was on top of us making sure we had what we needed and full drinks. Good job, Lilly. You should take your skills somewhere higher end. Atmosphere: live music 🎵, a view of the boardwalk and beach ⛱️. Can't beat it.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Berger, and it was a truly enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a modern decor that set the tone for a fantastic meal. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive servers who made sure our every need was met. But the real star of the show was the food – each dish was expertly prepared and presented, with flavors that were both bold and delicious. From the appetizers to the desserts, every bite was a delight. Whether you're a foodie or just looking for a great meal, Berger is definitely worth checking out
