Wonderful place to sit down and enjoy some fresh and delicious Mexican food in Wildwood. Restaurant is family owned and operated with excellent customer service, would definitely recommend if you’re passing by!

Shrimp and steak tacos amazing. One of the best guacamoles I’ve ever had. This is a really great order as you go and seat yourself restaurant. Very nice family ran business we found on our vacation to wildwood. Thank you!!

My dear long-distance college bestie and I arrived in this beach town road-trip road-trip hungry, when a sudden lightning storm shut down the boardwalk pizza parlors and sent everyone on the running. We drove in search of anyplace open and found the most beautiful spot: PlayaMexa. This family-owned restaurant fed us shrimp tacos and carne asada bowls and whipped up fresh guacamole twenty minutes before closing and gave us a birthday dinner a thousand times more delicious and personal than some surfside fish and chips would’ve been. Full bellies and full hearts and lots of gratitude tonight.

Was looking for a place to eat and saw playa mexa. A family owned Mexican restaurant with amazing customer service. It also doubles as a store for last minute vacation needs. The man behind the counter checked in multiple times to see if we were ok and kept a pleasant attitude the whole time.

Great authentic Mexican joint. The shrimp tacos were pretty much perfect!
