Captain’s Choice has the best selection of local oysters farms. They are clean, big, salty with lots of flavor. The market also carry beautiful and delicious purged clams ready to be cooked after a quick wash of the shell. The 24h/7 days self serving cooler is a great idea and so easy to use. Plus the owner Patrick is a super nice guy. He also has lots of others seafood products. Go see him. I strongly recommend his market. Support local seafood.
After moving to Hubert a year ago, I quickly found Captains Choice one weekend at the Farmers Market and always have the best experience. From the customer service to the quality, it is A+ and a go to for seafood. It’s easy to make a beautiful dish when you have beautiful products to begin with.
The oysters from Changing Tide were fantastic! Creamy, buttery, and obviously fresh. The crab cakes were great as well. Perfect pair! Can’t thank you guys enough. My one stop shop for seafood.
