Captain’s Bar & Grille

A Hidden gem in Sandwich, where the prices are reasonable, the portions are good, great quality food and the staff is attentive and friendly. This was my first time here in eight years. All of the changes are awesome . We were a party of three adults and two children. We mostly had seafood, including the whole belly clam plate that was on special for $24.99. The food was great and our waitress was very nice. If we had room for dessert, I think we would’ve got the carrot cake, it was about four layers, which I spotted in the dessert case as we walked in. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying the new outdoor bar, this is going to be a great place to meet friends and relax with a summer drink. I live within walking distance and I think this will my new go-to place this summer!

First time visit for lunch based on a recommendation, and did not disappoint. Sat at the cozy sized bar and took notice of the great ocean/Cape decor. Wide ranging menu with so many options! We started with a mountain order of onion rings and our groups food and drinks were excellent. Personally went with the swordfish caesar wrap which was amazing! Had never heard of it, and didn't disappoint! If you're looking for a solid place w the true look and feel of Cape Cod, this is your spot.

We went here for a family dinner at my son’s suggestion. I don’t have any regrets. The place was quite the waitress was friendly and patient. I had to return the slim piña colada which she had suggested. She didn’t hesitate to take it away and get me another. Our meal came in a timely manner and we all enjoyed it the atmosphere. I must say for tourists be aware they close at 8:30 but it’s the cape so apparently most retire early. PS. Please get another restroom one is definitely NOT enough to service the size of the restaurant.

Have not eaten at Captain Scott's in Sandwich in years. Recently sat at their outside bar for dinner. The food and wine was FABULOUS. The server gave us excellent Recommendations. The bill for 2 of us was $30 each wine and a meal.. I was pleasantly surprised and had to share👍🏻.

Under construction can't wait to see the new bar and restaurant!!! Super cute outdoor seating looks perfect for the summer time. The staff makes you feel welcomed and right at home. The menu is HUGE lots to choose from, definitely something for everyone ... for sure. Next time you drive by, pull over and grab a gyro to go or a seafood dish! Prices are very competitive. We got the fried calamari, it came ontop of a sauce that went very well with it. Then 2 seafood dishes, and of course icecream! We took home 2 boxes for left overs. We will be back!!
