Captain's Bar and Grille

This is a great hidden local place. The good is great. We sat in the patio and honesty didn't get much service. We had to find our own napkins. We were short on table ware and only were asked if we were doing ok once. The food is really good and the atmosphere is great. The tuna was awesome. Chicken tenders are great as well. The prices are very good as well. There is a full bar. Pool tables are in the back. This is a great atmosphere. I will definitely come back.

Live music great food. The staff cares about you not the tip. Smart!! How a food bar with live music and care for their customers are great. The chef takes his time and gives you a proper meal. I recommend this place.

This review was from when the place was called TNT, Trudys Neighborhood Tavern. Mom and I went there today for a late lunch/early dinner. The grilled mahi sandwich on brioche bun was excellent (see my photos). It was a large piece of fish, cooked to perfection on a toasted brioche bun with lettuce tomato and onion, tarter or mayo came on the side. The fries are some of the best we have ever had, they were thick and chunky! Mom had the French dip and she loved it. It was so big she was only able to eat a third of it. We ate outside, there were a few smokers so we sat with the wind at our back. Service was great, we were waited on almost instantly, food was prepared quickly, and the portions were big. We will tell our friend and neighbors to give them a try.

New name, but the same incredible food, staff and atmosphere. I was so happy to see the menu still had our favorites. You still get great food for what you pay. And seeing the locals who have called this restaurant their go to spot for years, continue to come and hangout, just tells you its in good hands ♥️ Can't wait to get back into the groove of cool nights on the patio with a great cold beer and our dog 😍
