Captain Peter's Seafood

We did carry out and ordered shrimp and scallops platter with fries and greens, shrimp scallops and catfish platter with fries and extra hush puppies, and catfish and shrimp platter with fries and hush puppies. I started the fish and it didn't taste like catfish. Thinking it was me, I asked my husband to come over, and without trying it, he said you're going to ask me to taste the fish, it tastes just like mine. I was like okay. So it's not catfish. Nope. I called and spoke to the young lady who took the order. She swore it was catfish because they cut it down the middle, and she checked, and they sold a lot today and no one else called to say otherwise. I can't attest to why they didn't, but fried at home, ordered from bus boys and poets, milk and honey, granny or my mama or auntie's kit

Nice little fish house, not allot of seating. Not anything fancy for sure, carryout may be a better option. Tried the whitey fish, a little fishy. Fries and slaw very good and fried shrimp were awesome! Good stop for lunch.

The decor is pretty cartoony - not a place you'd go to for the atmosphere. However, the lunch specials were a good bargain, I thought. (See picture for trout lunch special for 13.87$ including tax). I would not likely go here other than for the lunch special. The quality of the food (if looking for seafood for dinner) is better at Horace and Dickies nearby, in my personal opinion. Cap Pete's does have great sauces and the food was fresh! The slaw was super!

First visit and I was sold bad shrimp. I took them back and cashier had an attitude. She stated she didn’t see what the issue was. You clearly smell the shrimp and they are sour. I’m a now sick 🤢. Would not recommend to anyone ever! (The comment to my review itself speaks volumes. They appreciate the feedback while downplaying the feedback. Just get better if its a craft for you. Have someone else more professional to respond to reviews for "Business" and not the actual person I had the encounter with)

I ordered the whiting fish platter fried. The food was bland and unseasoned. Fish was fried well however. Platter options were not good in my opinion. Won't eat here again.
