Captain Marden's Seafoods

Um, this place got elevated! We have always loved eating here whether just a night out or bringing out of town friends. We hadn’t been here for almost a year and were so pleasantly surprised with the renovation (looks spiffy) and the menu update. The presentation/plating got kicked up a notch and the seafood was still just as a fresh as before (if not better). Looked it up and I guess they had a chef change. Wow. Hate writing this review in case it gets busier and we won’t be able to walk in but it deserves all of the praise.

The food is very delicious, the service is over the top, the ambience is nice and cozy, besides the crab cake is too small portion’s compared to the price, everything is perfect.

I Went there for dinner,with my husband . It looked very clean, bright & welcoming. The mussels were delisciuos. My catch if the day was amazing, with crispy Brussels sprouts. My husband had Captain’s platter.. it was Huge, & very tasty! Lastly, my dessert: Vanilla Bean Creme Brûlée was wonderful!! I’d highly recommend this seafood restaurant!!

Four for lunch, all first timers. Loved it. We had the lobster bisque and fish and chips; they let us substitute crispy brussels and butternut squash for the french fries. Awesome! One friend had a huge Caesar salad with crab cake, which she also pronounced delicious. Corn bread arrived warm and tender. Great value for the money, and friendly and accommodating service from our waitress Ella. We will be back!

We get take out from the Captain Marden’s restaurant regularly. We are huge fans and always have a delicious meal. Our young children love it too!
