Captain Mac's Fish House & Seafood Market

What a wonderful place. Didn't know much about it, but once I found out I went there twice in one week. I don't think I've ever seen such Quality Seafood balanced with a friendly price. I've been guilty of visiting other establishments based on name. Beleive me, I found out I paid for the name not the quality of seafood that was served. Lobster, crab cakes, salmon, clams, Old Bay waffle chips. The owner Bruce was incredible to talk to about obtaining quality seafood and the lengths he goes to get it. Bright cheery place well decorated and great staff. Kudos to a job well done!

Delicious, beyond fresh, and high quality! I think they have some of the best fried oysters around. Came around 4th of July and they were large, plump, mild and slightly sweet/milky in flavor, and very low in whatever you call the contents of the oyster’s stomach. They were frickin delicious and I totally should have got more. The sides were great. Fries were piping hot, as was the corn. I liked that they cooked the corn to order. Absolutely no complaints. Update: Visited again in autumn and had an equally as amazing experience. Oysters were of a different variety this time, but that’s what rocks about local seafood! Tried more menu items like grilled rockfish and their crab soup. Amazing, and super friendly staff!

What a great atmosphere and experience! Our families new favorite dinner spot. Views are A+++. Service and food were spot on. Special shoutout to worker- Luke. We had blackened mahi, tilefish, crabcake, and all were so fresh and delicious

Every time we come to the ocean I make it a point to go to Captain Mac's. They have the best seafood in town and the prices are far more reasonable than anywhere else. I got the Captain's platter with the crabcake. The crabcake wasn't huge but it was fair for the price with everything else you get in the platter. The blackened mahi mahi is always delicious, the scallops were pretty good. It's hard to tell if they needed more seasoning because I ate them right after the blackened Mahi. They were good though. The shrimp were also delicious. I was actually surprised at how many shrimp came with the dish. It was more than I expected. The kids fish sticks are also mahi mahi. Where else can you get mahi mahi for a kids fish sticks!?

Had the soft shell sandwich platter with cucumber/tomato salad and coleslaw. The crab was flavorful and light. The coleslaw was good and the salad tasted fresh. The owner and staff were so friendly and the vibe of the dining was comfortable. The view from the deck was great though because of a storm we ate inside.
