Always a solid place to eat. I greatly appreciate the huge discount for veterans. They also have outstanding deals for seniors on Sunday and Wednesday. Ladies who work there are very friendly and attentive.

I have to say, I am shocked at the negative reviews. I've eaten at the Captain Ds in MT Sterling 3 times since I moved to the area. The food has been exceptional and consistent, every time. The Captain Ds where I'm from was disgusting. The fish was always overly greasy but this location is doing all the right things. Every meal I've had the fish is perfectly fried and so hot and fresh I have to wait for it to cool. Hushpuppies are outstanding and the coleslaw is delicious. Not to mention the staff here. Everyone has always been so incredibly down to earth and polite.

I never leave a bad review but in this case can't help it. First girl that took my order paid zero attention to what I ordered. Got Chicken instead of Fish, Baked Potato was not near 1/2 done. 2 spoonfuls of Cole Slaw max. Restroom was absolutely filthy. Don't have real high expectations of Fast Food but this went to a new level of low.

Great Experience at Captain D’s in Winchester, KY! Stopped by Captain D’s in Winchester and had the Shrimp & Sausage Jambalaya. The service was excellent—fast, friendly, and efficient. The food was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious! The shrimp was cooked perfectly, and the flavors in the jambalaya were spot on. Definitely a great spot for a quick and tasty meal. I’ll be back for sure!

I have been eating captain D for since i was 7 yrs old. The batter dipped shrimp is my 1 number go to meal. I just went to my favorite location today as do every Thursday and Friday and corporate took away my battered dipped shrimp im heart broken 31 yrs and now they wana change. The new shrimp are batter is to hard and not good. Please bring my batter dip shrimp back.... i gave 3 stars because im upset i cannot get my favorite meal.
