Captain D's

When I ordered our food in the dining area, the cashier was polite and helpful. But when I went to pay, the card reader did not recognize my Gpay. The cashier said that; they did not accept Gpay." I asked why it was listed on the card machine... She then asked me "if I had an iPhone." I replied that I did not. Then she stated that; "I could use Cashapp..." I thought to myself; Nah. I asked if she could give a minute and I would go to my car and get my card. She stated "sure". I came back and used my credit card to pay. I then watched as our food was placed in "to-go" containers and then placed in a microwave. I didn't recall if our food came from their kitchen. I did not see anyone back there through the opening behind the register... I have gone to this location several times in the past

I drove over an hour because there's no. Captain D's where I live. I did not regret the drive, they didn't disappoint at all. The lady in the front was patient, nice, looked very nicely and she was very respectful, as well the cook in the back. Clean bathroom and dining area. I will be going back and I hope they don't disappoint ever🤗

We love Captain D's usually. The health inspection rating was a C. The place was dirty. Workers sitting around. The cashier didn't want to bother with us. The food tasted good.

April 1, 2025 the first thing I asked was no bread or hush puppies because I am allergic to the onions, got them anyway. The fries were dry, cold and hard as wooden branches. Then the 5 butterfly shrimp for $1.99 was hard also. Very small and the breading felt as if I were chewing on sand! Horrible! When told the only reply was, “OK I’ll tell the manager!” You get what you pay for!!!

Not horrible but not that great either. The wait was crazy and it was only one car ahead of me. She waited I know 20 minutes just to order. I waited cause I wanted to try something different I had never been. For my first time it was not too good. And the portions are not great for the price lady at drive thru was nice.
