Awaken Coffee

I’ve been coming to Awaken for years, and they are by far one of my favorite spots in Greenville! The staff is always incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive. Their coffee is delicious, with a great balance of espresso and flavor; my favorite is the teddy graham latte! I love their mission to employ adults with different abilities, and raising awareness for more establishments to do the same. Awaken is a wonderful place with amazing staff and coffee - definitely stop in and see them! :)

I just visited here from out of town on business. Great setting and vibe to sit down and do a little work. A young staff member just walked over and engaged me in meaningful conversation (as he seems to do with everyone here). He told me I look good for my age - he is my new favorite person. My coffee (black, medium roast) is reasonably priced and good. Not the best quality or as strong as I prefer, but fresh and without any burnt flavor. The websites describes it as, "a place where adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities can learn job skills, showcase their talents and create meaningful connections." It is that and definitely a place you'd be glad you checked out.

Recently visited Awaken Coffee and I loved it! The overall atmosphere was very calming, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved all of the photos on the wall as well as my drink. Everyone should totally check this place out.

Needed some quick coffee before tailgating for the ECU game and this was such a great find. The coffee is great, the sugar free brown sugar flavor is so good. A great place with a fantastic mission. Stop by and support if you can!

This is my favorite place to go when I need a good coffee and a lifted spirit. You can't help but smile when you walk into the door. Amazing coffee, amazing employees! It is a MUST do when in the area. Best coffee in town by far!
