Captain D's

Now I remember why we stopped going to Captain D’s. Whatever you do check your food before leaving with take out. Drove home 20 minutes to find raw potatoes, burnt corn, over cooked rubbery shrimp and clams , what I didn’t find was the crab cakes paid extra for and hush puppies that normally come with what you order. Called to complain, got a “refund” doesn’t solve my issue of feeding my grandkids tonight but when I go back I can get the order again free ( I’m guessing that’s the refund), why would I go back just to get horrible food all over again.

Shrimps were mushy once you bit into them and had a very weird taste to them along with the fish. Its like the grease may have been bad. The fries were cold. Potato was very hard. This is with waiting in the drive thru for 15mins for the food. We're not locals therefore turning around was not an option. I did call and speak with the manager in hopes of being compensated if/whenever I am back in town (Thank you) because throwing $25 plus away in today's hard times doesn't sit well with me.

Just waited in line 20 minutes and then pulled up as the lady at the window told me her headset was dead! Then placed my order, got to my destination and the food is COLD!! Can't go back either!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND! 0/10!

The Deluxe Platter is the best. The food is tasty and fresh. They have crab cakes and the best flavored corn. The fried shrimp is very good. Inijah was the sweet lady that took our order. She was a pleasure 😊

I have always bragged on this location. We even travel a little further to eat here because the food is better and the service is great! The last two visits have been disappointing. Did you all change the brand of fish? It tastes very different and not in a good way. Please change the grease. Everything was extremely greasy and overcooked.
