Captain Bob's Crabs

Pound and half of large shrimp with onions... Not even close ! Shrimp are small should have know better they didn't even display their shrimp in the case . Can't even eat them so over steamed. When pealing them it tears the Shrimp apart from being over steamed, onions ? Never seen green onions. Never again!

Our dozen crabs may have been steamed fresh, but not anytime close to my order. We spent $95 on a dozen of tough, dry, stringy meat crabs. Our dozen hush puppies were mediocre at best but they were $13, so they fall to one star as well. I can honestly say that I have never had a more disappointing time eating crabs, and I was taught to pick crab in 1974… So sorry to leave this review, but I can’t let others have a similar experience.

Love this place 🥰 It’s our go to every time we want fresh steamed crabs. And in the off chance I’m not in the mood for crabs (which is rare), they have a selection of other options that are also all amazing! From the fried pickles, to their Ribs, to the Crabs, and don’t forget the fresh cut French fries 🍟 love it!!!

We have been going to Capt Bobs for my entire life. The seasoning is always spot in but the crabs have been dissapointing lately. We ordered two dozen extra large crabs for my dad and they were definitely not extra large. I would say more med/LG mix.

Crabs were good as usual, not all larges in my opinion. Guy in the trailer was very rude to me when my cards chip malfunctioned and it took 3 times til it went through. Even though he took a phone call and he moved like a turtle in between card swipes he told a customer that I screwed him all up thats why he had to wait. Sorry bud didn't try to malfunction my card. Next time don't tell so many people to show up at the same time if you can't handle a little hiccup!!
