Cap't Loui - Decatur

First visit here at Cap’t Loui, was phenomenal. The service I received from Jay was good. The food was so good! I ordered half a pound of shrimp no head boil which came with one potato and one corn. Now the price is pretty high for the amount of food. I order an 6 piece wing for an appetizer, btw the don't have appetizers. The wings were fresh and cooked well. I ordered a side of garlic noodles. Which I highly recommend. I checked reviews before coming and noticed it was very popular, lol please you all join the trend. I ordered my boil-in-bag Cap’t Loui sauce which I absolutely love. It has a hint of sweetness which I think was a good idea. I did order mild, which was great for my liking

I thought this place was a great experience. The staff were friendly and I enjoyed the button game to try to win some free food. The boil is very flavorful and was great for my taste. It is very garlic heavy and we ordered medium spice and I would have labeled it as a “spicy” level, so if you’re sensitive I recommend going a level down. According to my other party members this sauce is on the sweeter side to many boils, but I was a fan. Highly recommend the garlic noodles as a side.

My wife wanted Crab Legs for her Birthday so I found this restaurant online with great reviews. The place was cozy with a good atmosphere. The place was very clean and our waiter had a wonderful attitude. My wife ordered the Seafood Boiler with Snow Crab Legs and mussels which came in a bag with potatoes and corn and they gave her another side free which she chose eggs. She went with the hottest season plus extra because she likes it Spicy 🔥. I had the Fish (Cod) and Chips and a six piece wing. Over the food was good and we had extra to bring home.

I love the Downtown Decatur area and while me and my friend were unsatisfied with the customer service at First Watch in North Decatur, we stumbled across this place and I must say, we were highly satisfied and will return. The customer service alone was worth the price! Our food was amazing!!! I don't even eat alot, but I ate all of my food. Lol. Very laid back environment with friendly staff. We will definitely be back soon! Thanks Capitol Loui for a great experience!

Nice service and pretty good food (but this is coming from someone who doesn’t eat seafood). I had the wings basket and besides being a tad peppery they were good. Not huge wings and they only gave 5 or 6. The fries were the best part for me. My husband had the fish and chips and he said the fish was ok but bland. My friends that’s ordered seafood said their food was good. One said mediums spice was pretty spicy. The madam berry? was good and I took the drink pouch with me. They did add a gratuity (we were a party of 6 paying by 2’s). No real complaints but be prepared to pay for parking. They did validate our ticket up to 2hrs since we parked in the garage in the back.
