Customer Reviews
Every time we go to this place it seems to take way too long to get a sandwich. Our last visit the wait was 15 minutes for two sandwiches. The sandwiches are a little overpriced in our opinion and really, no big deal. They’re good and not great.
Hair in my sandwich. This is what I ordered, Classic Italian. Website says “more meat” what a joke. $28 for a sub and beverage. The pic from their website vs the pic of what I got. I guess they didn’t charge me extra for the hair in it. DISGUSTING! Should go to Subway next time.
First of all, they need to train their employees on proper food handling. When you wear the same gloves to handle the phone, money and the cash register as you do to make me sandwich, we have a major problem. I watched Avva go back and forth from checking people out (handling money and the register) then back to making sandwiches without changing her gloves the ENTIRE time we were there. She checked out no less than 10 people while preparing orders all with the same pair of gloves on. Maybe I'm wrong. But I'm grossed or by hey handling cash, then making my food. The food really wasn't anythinh special for the price. It wasn't bad either. But I won't be back. I'd rather have Jimmy John's, Jason's Deli or even Panera Bread for a better price and better product. The wait wasn't horrible. 12
I'd consider myself a sandwich man, and I love Caps! I highly recommend the following sandwiches: The Bobbie, The Italian, and the Chicken Bacon Ranch! You also can't sleep on the fries, especially the Capistrami Fries! The food and service is exceptional. This locally owned family business has a heart for the Abilene community and the surrounding areas. Do yourself a favor and put Caps on your regular rotation for you and/or your business. I have used them for both and ALWAYS been pleased.
Oh my, brings back memories. Got the Bobbie and it was delicious, as were the fries. As a kid, I would make a sandwich with leftover chicken and dressing with cranberry sauce...and I just turned 71, so it has been awhile. Friendly staff and so polite. Thanks for great food and fond memories.
