Capri Italian Restaurant

It took quite a few minutes to get anyone's attention to be seated, once seated it took about 10 minutes before anyone greeted us. I ordered breaded filet of sole with rice pilaf and veggies. Rice was cold. Cesar salad. The salad was delicious. My friend couldn't eat her meal due to the way it was prepared. The bread they first serve was absolutely delicious!! They brought us a second serving of that bread upon request. Our server was great, once we got her. Lastly, the manager came to out table and was very sorry that my friend couldn't eat her meal. She gave us a one day pass to use the pool. She was very friendly and sincere. The only improvement they need to do is make all the people working there at least acknowledge a customer standing and waiting to be seated or even at the bar, I

Tommie was absolutely amazing!!! We were a bit late to our reservation, the restaurant was closing, and him and the manager made it happen. He made my mom homemade horseradish sauce for her prime rib, he made us fresh bread after it was all gone, and just overall made us feel so special and welcome on our trip. He was lovely and next time we are back we are definitely asking for him. Thank you Tommie!!

While visiting Miracle Springs for the day and after a spa service I was quite hungry. Capri is the only on site restaurant at the resort. The service was extremely slow with veteran servers taking their time. 3 tables with 2 waitresses and a bartender. The newbie waitress was very attentive and moved quite fast. Initially I requested to sit outside but the tables were filthy and the waitress took her time to clean it so I sat inside. Ordered the burger and fries the waitress must’ve noticed my frustration, when the meal came, I got an abundance of fries. The meal was hot, delicious and affordable!

We came in at noon, there were about 4 guests at the bar and 2 tables of 2 in the dining room. We approached the bar, waiting for service and stood there for nearly 10 minutes without even merely being acknowledged. Then we decided to try to get a table. We waited for the server to acknowledge us and again, she continued to carry on with her tasks without greeting us or giving us any indication that she’d be right with us. So we left. I frequent the resort this restaurant is linked to and I can confidently say, I will never set foot in this place again. It was awful to stand there and feel invisible without even a “hello.” There are FAR better restaurants in the area that respect all guests, not just the ones they care to attend. Once again. We found a gem. At first it was a little hard to find because it's located in a hotel. But once found we really liked the atmosphere. Staff was also well and clean dressed. Very attentive as well. There is also a full bar and they also have a small but nice weinlist. Mostly American wines but still a pretty decent selection for a low budget. We started out with an appetizer. The combination plate. Mozzarella and zucchini sticks very pretty darn good. I mean, there is only so much a chef can do with them. But let me tell you, they were so good. I usually don't eat alot of onion rings but hey, since the other two were so good I tried them and OMG...they were absolutely amazing....best onion rings I have ever had.
