We loved the vegan Chicago-style deep dish cheeseburger pizza with no upcharge for making it vegan! The decor and vibe is adorable inside. The restaurant is spotless, very clean and cozy. Retro tables and unique salt & pepper shakers and small lamps on each table are so cute. The bathroom was one of the cleanest public bathroom we've been in . We loved the chicago-style deep dish cheeseburger pizza and the cheesebread. Our pizza was loaded with lettuce and onion- so good. We'll be bringing a pizza home from Cappy's whenever we travel through Cedar Rapids. You get hubba bubba gum when you pay your bill, which is written out on a "vintage" receipt. Water is served in mason jars. Nice beer selection, wine too. Great service.

Cute place! Loved the atmosphere. Service was great, friendly and quick. We got a Gluten Free hand tossed crust--SO good! Highly recommend. Can't even tell that its not regular crust. Will definitely be back! Nice selections of wines and a few canned beer options.

1 star is specifically for the gluten-free crust. After oping my order and seeing the sloppy sight, I showed the boys working and was told that b/c the gluten-free crust sticks to the oven the topping slider around and that the owner was fine with it. Got home to eat my $26, GF 12 inch veggie pizza, and found the bottom was completely covered in raw flour. Tried scrapping it off b/c my kids didn't like the powder covering their mouths but ended up just eating the toppings off and calling it a night.

I placed a take out order wanting to try Cappy’s for the first time. I showed up when they said…not ready. After twenty minutes passed, I asked where my pizza was. They never even made the second pizza. Never offered a resolution, just said sorry. I sat there a total of 45 minutes. So, from the time I ordered until I picked up…almost 90 minutes passed.
