Cape Look Out Bed & Breakfast

My husband and I stayed three nights recently with Mary Ann at Cape Look Out Bed and Breakfast. The location was great with easy, close access to the surrounding areas, and Harkers Island was a fun place to visit in itself. The B&B was clean, comfortable, relaxing-a very homelike, pleasant atmosphere. The breakfasts were delicious and lovingly prepared. Mary Ann is a precious hostess, concerned with making her guests’ stay the best possible. She is very knowledgeable about the local area, including history and culture of Harkers Island. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the Outer Banks for the first time, and Cape Look Out B&B was the perfect place to stay. We would stay there again and would recommend it to others; in fact, we already have!

The place is very nice and Mary Ann is very kind. We absolutely loved her breakfasts. It is very peaceful and comfortable and not far from The Harker Island National Park Visitor Center. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be back another time. Thanks Mary Ann!

A charming host and an absolutely delightful b&b. A 15 year new stilt home in perfect condition, with a wonderful view. The room was on the 3rd floor, so pack accordingly, you have stairs to climb. The bed was so comfortable. Great wifi too. Woke too the smell of coffee brewing downstairs. Breakfast was excellent. Everything was immaculate.

Wonderful little B&B! If you're looking to unplug and relax, you must stay here! Beautiful views, amazing breakfasts, comfortable beds, clean and quiet. MaryAnn is a wonderful host and talented cook. We enjoyed chatting over breakfast each morning. Close to the ferry for Cape Lookout and Shackleford Banks. About 30 minutes to Beaufort. We will be back!

I travel a lot, and usually I am looking for a place to stay that doesn't break the bank but is clean. This is one of the few times that the place I slept in made a huge difference in my trip. Mary Ann's B&B was clean, comfortable and perfectly located to explore the area. She was an absolute delight to talk to and her breakfasts were to die for. This is the only place I could stay in the future.
