Cap City Fine Diner and Bar

Excellent Valentine’s dinner tonight. Appetizer of blue cheese potato chips had just the right amount of crunch and chewiness plus tang of the blue cheese. Short ribs was the Valentine’s special and was outstanding served over mashed potatoes with carrots and parsnips. Husband had Philly steak sandwich which he said was good but not the best he’s had. Dessert (not pictured) was Black Forest cake made with marscarpone frosting and raspberry jam. It was excellent - sweet but not overly sweet, moist with the tanginess of the raspberries. P

Outstanding. As a New Yorker I'm picky about "diners" but since it was Cameron Mitchell we decided to give it a go. Drinks were great, food was Outstanding and our service was top notch. Will definitely be going back. We had the meatloaf ans stroganoff and wow! Amazing

Cap City never fails to satisfy. Entered when the restaurant was just opening up and within 30 minutes it was at capacity. Food is always prompt. Delicious, weight staff is always friendly, and of course the atmosphere is Cap City.

This place is simply amazing! The interior was beautiful. The food was just delightful. And the server, Stephanie, was the nicest person. If your looking for a place kid and adult friendly, definitely check this place out

The food here was moderately good—nothing over the top, but satisfying. I had a cheesesteak with fries, and while the flavors were decent and the portion generous, it could have used a little more seasoning to really stand out. The fries were crisp and enjoyable, especially with the ranch dipping sauce. What really elevated the experience was the service. Our server, Carlos, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. His service made the visit much more enjoyable and memorable. The atmosphere was comfortable with a modern diner feel, perfect for a casual meal. Would definitely come back, especially thanks to the great service!
