The first time I looked this place up, I went there and it ended up being closed for the day. So the second time, I was really hoping that it was open, and I am so glad that it was. We got the jolof combo, and the fufu (I think).. The flavors of both dishes were significantly different.. I love the spicy sauce that both came with too.. the chunk of fried chicken that we had was really good and super crispy but juicy on the inside. The piece of fish on my plate was really good as well. The beef in the stews on both dishes were so good.. everything mixed together was so tasty.. of equal noteworthiness were the homemade canned drinks that were there in the fridge in the main room. OMG!!! I ordered waakye at this place and it was honestly one of the best I’ve had in Sayreville NJ. The rice and beans were cooked perfectly, the stew was rich and flavorful, and the spices tasted authentic just like back home. The portion was generous and everything tasted fresh. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was friendly. If you’re craving real Ghanaian waakye, this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back!

This is a new spot! The food is sincerely amazing. The portions are great and the pricing is also good in my opinion! Would definitely eat from here again
