Cancun's Family Mexican Restaurant

I live in New York, so we were traveling on our way to the Catskills, and happening to see this on Google Maps. I’m always sus about Mexican spots in small towns, but this place was really good. Everything was spot on, flavors etc. The staff was very friendly as well

The food lacked seasoning, leaving it somewhat underwhelming. I ordered pork tacos accompanied by rice and refried beans, but the addition of lettuce, tomato, and American cheese felt unnecessary. I had hoped for a touch of lime with cilantro sauce and a bit of spice to elevate the flavors. However, the Piña Colada was excellent and truly stood out.

Nice food and really friendly place. We had a good time during our visit.

I wish I had something nice to say. Staff is friendly enough but 2nd time now I've had stomach ache after eating here. Plastic cups of water that have plastic falling off the edges and tasted like fish accompanying watery beans, bland rice and thin salsa that lacked flavor and substance.

really beautiful place made with love and delicious, authentic mexican food, and generous portions! I loved the mole burrito.
